Made a trip up to Mailbox Peak off of I90 in the central cascades. It’s just over an hour from PLU and 100% worth the trip. We had awesome weather; the snow line turned dramatically at around 4000’ from nada to nearly 4 inches. Views and changing Fall colors were spectacular. The trail was fairly crowded in the afternoon, so I suggest getting up there early. (we got to the trailhead around 9:00am.
